Well hidden in a warehouse in Williamsburg is this wonderful opportunity to shop Christmas gifts made by local designers. Brooklyn Night Bazaar launched inside Dekalb Market in October and moved to this huge warehouse on Kent Avenue for three nights in December (15, 16, 17).
Tonight is the last chance!
Doors open at 5pm and till 1am you can enjoy lots of great local food. Raw foodies One Lucky Duck from Manhattan are there as well as Greenpoint’s Rooftop Farms and Brooklyn Brewery brought Winter Ale to the Bazaar. Enjoy a yummy slice of focaccia with Brussel sprouts, Thai noodles or a pork sandwich, wine, beer or a fresh fruit smoothy while strolling between the designer’s stands offering art, jewelery and clothing.
On stage in the second room are tonight The Hold Steady, Titus Andronicus, Wakey! Wakey! and w/o.
Tickets are $18 for the bands but the food and shopping area is free to enter.
How to get there?
Take the L train to Bedford Avenue. After you’ve left the subway station walk against driving direction on N 7th Street. Cross Bedford Avenue, Berry Street, Wythe Avenue and make a left into Kent Avenue. Cross N 6th and on the left you’ll see this plain yellowish building with rolling gate. There you are!
Well hidden but worth searching for it. Have fun!
